Unfortunately, you can't officially play as an Octoling in the original Splatoon on the Wii U. They were only introduced as playable characters in Splatoon 2. Stick to your squidtastic Inkling self in Splatoon 1!

In Splatoon 1, Octolings only appear as enemies in single-player, so enjoy splatting them instead!
