As a pro BitLife model, I always start with a character that has strong Looks stats. I hit the gym regularly, sometimes get plastic surgery, and always avoid bad behavior. Promotions come quickly if you keep your boss happy and work hard.
Start off by ensuring your character has high Looks and Health stats! Once you hit adulthood, apply for the modeling job, and work hard to get promotions. Stay away from crime and bad habits to keep that model career on track!
