I found the best way is to play defensively. Wait for Balrog to come to you, block his attacks, then counter. Patience is key!

Balrog can be tough, but you gotta exploit his weaknesses. Keep your distance and use projectiles if your character has them, like Ryu or Ken's Hadouken. When he's open after a big punch, move in for a combo!

Just spam low kicks. Seriously, Balrog has a hard time dealing with constant low attacks. It's not the most elegant strategy, but it works!

Keep jumping over him and landing aerial attacks. Balrog struggles with opponents who are constantly in the air. Just watch out for his anti-air moves.

Button mash! Sometimes the most complex strategies don't pan out, so just mash those buttons and hope for the best!
