Dude, just use the Hoik method. Build a hoik loop outside the Dungeon entrance and lure the Guardian into it. You can then stay almost still while hitting it. I did it, and after a few tries, it worked! Patience is key.
I mean, why would you even want to beat the Dungeon Guardian? Just wait till you've defeated Skeletron to enter the Dungeon without getting obliterated. Much easier.
Pro-tip: Don't. But if you must, remember this: it’s all about the preparation. Build a long, straight path to run back and forth on, and use the fastest ranged weapon you have.
