Easiest way? Get yourself some good armor and a bunch of grenades. King Slime is a big target, so grenades are super effective. Also, build a simple rope structure upwards - King Slime can't jump to high places so you can attack from above. Oh, and don't forget to keep moving!

Honestly, just spam him with whatever you've got. Overpreparation is overrated.

Slime King is a piece of cake if you got the Hermes Boots. Just keep running and hitting, running and hitting. A decent bow can make short work of him, just keep your distance.

Piercing weapons are your best friend against King Slime! Try using weapons like the Javelins or a strong bow with flaming arrows. And movements accessories - gotta have those to easily dodge his jumps!
