IMO, level 304 is all about the power-ups. Use them wisely and aim for the rockets to clear out rows or columns that are blocking your cherries. Don't spread your efforts too thin. Focus on one cherry at a time.
Honestly, just focus on clearing obstacles and getting those cherries to the bottom. Power-ups help but try to save them for when you really need them.
Level 304 can be tricky, but focus on making combinations at the bottom of the board to cause cascades, which could help clear more pieces and bring down the cherries faster.
