Use Type advantage! Find out the raid boss’s type and load up on Pokemon that have strong moves against it. For example, if you're fighting a Dragon type, Fairy, Ice, or Dragon type moves work great.

Prep your Pokemon! Before diving in, make sure your Pokemon are powered up and have the best movesets. You can use TMs to change moves if needed.

Hot take: Sometimes you need luck! RNG can mess with you, so don’t be afraid to try again.

Use remote raid passes if you can't be there in person. You can join raids from anywhere if you have the pass.

Get a team together! You usually need at least 5-7 players to take down a Level 5 raid boss. Make sure to coordinate with your local Pokemon GO community.

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
