In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you don't have to run for election to become mayor! Right at the start, you're mistaken for the town's new mayor and just roll with it. So, put on your mayoral hat and get ready to improve your town with projects, set town ordinances, and more. It's your town now!

Been mayor since day one here! It's pretty straightforward. The game kicks off with you being named mayor pretty much by accident. No campaign needed, just a lot of enthusiasm and maybe a love for virtual home decorating and fishing. As mayor, you can shape the town to your liking with public works projects and ordinances. Enjoy your term!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
