You actually can't block a throw in Mortal Kombat X. Throws bypass blocks. You need to tech it by pressing the throw button at the right time.

Teching a throw by pressing the throw button (L1/LB or X/A) right when your opponent grabs you is the way to go. It's all about those reflexes!

Blocking a throw in Mortal Kombat X is tricky! You gotta press the block button (usually R2/RT) right before the grab connects. Timing is everything!
