Open Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy, click Settings, then Privacy. There you can set 'Who can send you friend requests?' to Friends of friends. Easy peasy!

Just block all friend requests. Go to Settings > Privacy > Who can send you friend requests? > Friends of friends. Done.

Go to your Facebook settings, hit 'Privacy', and change 'Who can send you friend requests?' to 'Friends of friends.' Boom, no more random requests!

Why block when you can dive into making new friends? But really, go to Privacy settings and change 'Who can send you friend requests?' to 'Friends of friends.'
