You can hide your friends list by going to your profile, clicking 'Friends', then the pencil icon, and selecting 'Only me'. Easy peasy!
Just make friends list private from settings. Done!
Head to your profile, navigate to the 'Friends' section, click on the 'Manage' button (the little pencil), select 'Edit Privacy', and choose 'Only me' under the 'Who can see your friends list?' option. Voil脿!
