How to Block Tagging on Facebook
Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Timeline and Tagging. There, you can manage who can tag you and review tags before they appear on your profile. Easy peasy!

Just head over to Settings > Timeline and Tagging, then adjust the 'Review tags' settings. Boom, no more random tags!
My hot take: Don't block tags. It's a part of social interaction. Just review them instead!
I've done this myself! Go to Settings, find the Timeline and Tagging section, and set 'Review posts you're tagged in' to On. Life saver!
