Hold the PS and Share buttons on the controller until the light bar blinks. Open Bluetooth settings on your device and select 'Wireless Controller'. Done!

I've done this a bunch - hold PS + Share buttons together on the controller, then search for 'Wireless Controller' in your Bluetooth settings. Works every time!

First, put your PS4 controller into pairing mode by holding the PS button and Share button simultaneously until the light bar starts flashing. Then, on your device (PC, smartphone, whatever), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices. Select 'Wireless Controller' from the list, and voil脿, you're good to go!
