First, make sure your Xbox controller has Bluetooth. Turn it on by holding the Xbox button, then hold the pairing button until the Xbox button flashes. On your phone, go to Bluetooth settings and look for the controller to pair. Easy peasy!

As someone who does this regularly: Turn on your Xbox controller, hold the pair button till the Xbox button flashes, and on your phone's Bluetooth settings, search and connect to 'Xbox Wireless Controller'. Voil脿!

Not all Xbox controllers have Bluetooth. Check for a plastic part around the Xbox button鈥攊f it's the same as the rest of the controller, you're good to go! Then follow the pairing steps.

Just hold the pairing button on the controller and search for it in your phone's Bluetooth settings. Simple as that!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
