You can only boost posts from a Facebook Page, not from your personal profile.
To boost a post from your personal Facebook account, make sure you switch to a public figure or content creator profile. Then, look for the 'Boost Post' button underneath your post. It's as easy as clicking that button and following the prompts!
I switched my account to a public figure, then started boosting posts. I saw a great uptick in engagement!
