Breaking a chest in Terraria is super easy! Just make sure it's empty first - you can't break chests that have items in them. Once it's empty, use your pickaxe to smash it. It doesn't matter what kind of pickaxe you have; any will do the trick. Just aim your cursor at the chest, and start swinging!

Just empty it and whack it with any pickaxe. Simple as that.

Empty, then hit with pickaxe. That's it.

You gotta make sure there's nothing left in the chest. After that, just hit it with a pickaxe. It doesn't really matter what kind of pickaxe you use, so no need to worry about having to upgrade before you can break one. I learned this the hard way when I started; kept trying to hit it full of loot and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't break!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
