Reinforcements are key. Bring another army to smash the siege from outside while your garrison holds.
I've found that using magic can turn the tide. A powerful spell can break enemy lines and swing the battle in your favor!
Starve them out! Play the long game by waiting out the enemy. Their army will weaken over time.
Hot take: Just auto-resolve if it's a winnable battle. Sometimes the AI does a better job than you think.
