Breaking the background in Terraria is pretty straightforward! You just need a hammer or any hammer-like tool. Aim at the background you wanna bust up, and left-click. Boom! Wallpaper be gone! This works on walls you've placed or certain naturally occurring ones, but remember, in the beginning areas you can't mess with the natural background till you've placed a wall of your own.

Remember, not all backgrounds are breakable from the get-go. You gotta place your own walls first in some spots. I learned this the hard way when I started. Spent a good hour trying to hammer the original background walls before I realized my mistake. So, place some walls, then go ham with that hammer!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
