If you're into shortcuts, you're outta luck with obsidian. No cheats or easy outs. Craft that Nightmare or Deathbringer and get digging!
Just use bombs. Lol, but seriously, bombs or dynamite won't do the trick for obsidian. You gotta craft the right pickaxe. Nightmare or Deathbringer pickaxes are your best bet. Happy mining!
Breaking obsidian in Terraria is pretty straightforward once you've got the right tools. You'll need at least a Nightmare Pickaxe or a Deathbringer Pickaxe.
