Dude, just use the Stopwatch and break the game in slow motion. Everything becomes easier when you can dodge like Neo.
Get the Perthrow rune and the habit item. Every time you take a hit, use Perthrow to reroll items until you're basically invincible.
Use the D20 in a room with a lot of pickups (like in the chest or a greed mode room) to reroll them into even more goodies.
