Honestly, streaming on Steam is kinda old-school. There are bigger platforms out there for broadcasting. But if you must, it's all in the Settings > Broadcasting tab.

Broadcasting on Steam is like throwing a gaming party and everyone's invited! First, open Steam and click on 'Steam' in the upper left corner, then go to 'Settings'. Click on the 'Broadcasting' tab. Here, you can choose your privacy settings – do you want your gameplay to be public, friends only, or just that one friend who's as obsessed with the game as you are? After setting your preferences, simply start playing a game, and Steam handles the rest. Your friends will now see a 'Watch Game' option when they visit your profile. So easy, even your grandma could start streaming!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
