Then, lay down a series of platforms about 5 blocks apart vertically so you can jump between them easily. Don't forget to place campfires and heart lanterns around for health regeneration, and maybe some sunflowers for a speed boost. I built my arena with layers of platforms, spaced so I can use a grappling hook to zip up and down really fast. Added some honey pools and star in a bottles for extra regen and mana. Worked like a charm for the mechanical bosses!
