Easy peasy! First, you'll need the blueprint, which you get from scanning a Fragment in the Aurora or Lifepod 3. Then, grab 1 Wiring Kit (crafted from 2 Silver Ore) and 1 Copper Wire (crafted from 2 Copper Ore), and craft it at the Fabricator. Boom – compass ready!

Just go to the Aurora, scan a Fragment, then get a Wiring Kit and Copper Wire to make it at the Fabricator.
