Building a hellevator in Terraria is pretty straightforward but requires some patience. First, pick a spot near your base for easy access. You'll want to start digging straight down using the best pickaxe you've got. The idea is to create a direct path to the Underworld. Make your hellevator at least 2 blocks wide to avoid getting stuck and to dodge falling into lava pools easier. Use platforms or ropes in your hellevator to easily move back up. Don't forget to place torches as you go down to light your path. It's also a good idea to have some water at the bottom of your hellevator to safely land in. Happy digging!

I actually built one last week! Pro tip: Make sure you have the Obsidian Skin Potion. Halfway down, I hit a massive lava lake and would've been toast without it. And yeah, the bomb method? Can confirm it's a blast, just be ready to fix any... irregularities in your tunnel.

Hot take: Just use bombs. It's way faster than pickaxing your way to the center of the earth. Sure, it might cost more resources, but think of the time you'll save!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
