How to Build a Hot Wheels Cardboard Loop

First, grab a bunch of cardboard, the thicker the better for durability. Sketch out a wide loop shape - think of it like a giant 'O' that’s been squished a bit. Cut it out carefully and use tape or glue to secure the ends together, making sure it's sturdy. You’ll want to create a stand to keep your loop upright, so maybe tape it to a base made from more cardboard. If you're feeling fancy, you can add some side supports to make sure it doesn't collapse mid-loop-de-loop!

Just roll with it! Get some cardboard, bend it into a loop, and use a ton of tape. If it stands and a car goes through, you nailed it.

To be honest, it's more about the trial and error than following any strict steps. I tried making one with my kids last weekend, and we found out that making a wider loop rather than a taller one makes it easier for the cars to complete the loop without flying off. Also, make sure the entry and exit points are smooth so the cars can maintain their speed.
