Once you've got that sorted, you'll kick things off by following the DLC’s quest line. It starts with a radio broadcast you’ll receive called 'Mechanical Menace.' Complete this quest and a few follow-up missions. After you've gotten through 'A New Threat,' you'll snag the schematics for the robot workbench. Then all you gotta do is go into your settlement building mode, find the workbench under 'Special' and build it using some common components like gears, screws, and aluminum.
