Building fences in Animal Crossing is super chill and adds that personal touch to your island! First up, you gotta earn some Nook Miles by doing various activities around your island. Then, head over to the Resident Services kiosk and redeem those Miles for DIY fence recipes. Once you've got a recipe, just gather the required materials and craft your fence at any DIY workbench. Place them anywhere you like on your island to create paths, gardens, or just to section off different areas.

Just buy the DIY recipes with Nook Miles and craft them. Easy peasy.

FYI, different fence styles can change the whole vibe of your island, so choose wisely! I spent like an hour deciding between the picket fence and the iron one. Ended up going with the bamboo for that zen garden look. So worth it for the 'gram.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
