Buying a house in Animal Crossing starts with getting to know Tom Nook, the local real estate raccoon. When you first start your game, he'll set you up in a tent. To upgrade to a house, just have a chat with him at Resident Services. He'll ask for a down payment, then you'll owe him a sizable amount of bells (the game currency). Start saving up by selling fish, bugs, and whatever else you can find around the island!

Just talk to Tom Nook and pay him bells. It's as simple as that. The hard part? Earning those bells!

Go fishin', catch bugs, and sell 'em! That's my pro tip for racking up the bells to pay off your home loan to Tom Nook. It's a grind, but hey, that's island life for ya.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
