Buying a house in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is your first step to settling down in your new island life! To do this, you'll start off in a tent. Talk to Tom Nook, the island's resident entrepreneur. He'll offer you the option to take out a loan (don't worry, there's no interest!) for your very first house. Once you accept, congrats! You're on your way to home ownership. Pay off your loan with Bells (the game's currency), which you can earn by selling fish, bugs, fossils, and fruit among other activities. Keep talking to Tom Nook after settling your debts to upgrade your home further!

Honestly, just stick with the tent. The island vibe suits it better, and who needs more debt, even if it's virtual?

Just talk to Tom Nook and get that loan! It's way easier than real life, LOL.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
