As someone who was super keen to get Chromatic Blade early, I found out the hard way that you can't buy it at Rank 1. You gotta work your way up to Rank 5 with Steel Meridian to get that sweet mod!

Unfortunately, you can't buy Chromatic Blade at Rank 1 because you need to unlock Excalibur's Chromatic Blade Augment Mod by reaching at least Rank 5 with the Steel Meridian Syndicate. So, complete missions and level up, Tenno!
