One of the easiest ways to buy Pokemon cards in Japan is to hit up local Pokemon Centers. They're literally everywhere and have exclusive cards you can't get anywhere else. Also, check out stores like Bic Camera or Yodobashi Camera for a wide selection. They're big electronics stores but have a surprisingly good selection of TCG stuff. And don't forget to dive into second-hand stores like Mandarake; you might find some rare gems!

When I was in Tokyo, I scored some awesome deals at Nakano Broadway. It's a paradise for collectors. You gotta check out the small shops there; they specialize in TCG and often have rare cards at decent prices.

Just hit up eBay tbh. You can find almost everything there without the hassle of navigating Japanese stores.

Don't sleep on Japanese online stores like Rakuten and Yahoo Auctions. Yeah, you'll need some basic Japanese or a browser translator, but it's worth it for the deals and rare finds.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
