FYI, some cards might show a '-30' next to their weakness symbol, meaning they take 30 less damage from that type, not more. Always worth double-checking!

Just look at the card, dude. If it says 'x2' and shows a water droplet, hit it with Water types for double damage. Easy peasy.

Calculating weakness in Pokemon TCG is pretty straightforward - just check the bottom right corner of your opponent's Pokemon card. You'll see symbols representing its weakness to specific types. For example, if you see a fire symbol and a 'x2' next to it on a Grass Pokemon, it means that Pokemon takes double damage from Fire-type attacks. So, if your Fire Pokemon attacks with a move that does 50 damage, the Grass Pokemon would take 100 damage instead because of its weakness.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
