Honestly, just wiggle it around a bit till it feels right. Worked for me when I thought mine was acting up. Sometimes, the best fix is the simplest one, no need to dive into menus.

Calibrating your Steam Deck joystick is super easy! Just go to the Settings menu in SteamOS, then Controller Settings, and you'll find the 'Calibrate' option under the detected Steam Deck controller. Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate. It's pretty straightforward and should sort out any drift issues or inaccuracies you're facing.

Make sure you really follow the calibration steps closely. It's not just about moving the joystick around; precision during calibration makes all the difference. Skip a step or rush it, and you'll be back to square one with unresponsive or jittery controls.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
