You can't call your ship mid-battle or in restricted zones, so make sure you're safe and clear before trying!

Just open the game's map and select a location with a nearby suitable landing area, your ship will be there in a flash!

Once I got stuck on a planet and couldn't call my ship. Turns out, I was in a restricted area鈥攈ad to walk to an open spot. Lesson learned: avoid landing zones surrounded by enemies!
