Canceling a download on Steam is super easy! Just go to the 'Library' section, find the game that's currently downloading, and then simply right-click on it. You'll see a context menu pop up, and all you gotta do is click 'Manage' > 'Cancel Download'. Voila, no more download!

Here's a quick one: go to 'Library', right-click the game, hit 'Cancel Download'. Done!

Honestly, just let it download. More often than not, by the time you decide to cancel, it could've been halfway done. Steam downloads are pretty fast anyway.
