I tried everything to cancel a mission in Starfield but ended up just completing it. Who knew, sometimes you get hooked on the unexpected!
No way to cancel missions as of now, just leave them be and do something else.
As far as I know, there's no 'cancel mission' button in Starfield, but hey, just keep exploring the universe and you'll forget all about it!
