From personal experience, head to the Roku account page online (my.roku.com), sign in, find 'Manage your subscriptions,' then just hit 'Cancel Subscription' next to the service.
You can't cancel it directly from the app; you need to use the Roku device or browser.
Just because the remote has a star button doesn't mean it can grant wishes, but it can help cancel subscriptions!
