Canceling a mission in GTA San Andreas is pretty simple, most of the time you just need to fail the mission on purpose. You can do this by destroying whatever you're supposed to be delivering, letting the mission timer run out, or getting wasted or busted. Once you fail, you'll be given the option to quit the mission instead of retrying. There's no direct 'cancel' button, so this workaround does the trick!
