Canceling a mission in GTA 5 is pretty straightforward but depends on what you're looking to do. If you're mid-mission and decide it's not for you, simply fail the mission—like by dying or destroying a mission-specific vehicle. This will give you the option to quit the mission. However, if you're looking to cancel a mission you haven't started yet, just walk away or drive away from the mission marker. No hard feelings!

Actually, you can't "cancel" a mission in the traditional sense of stopping it midway with a button press. You either have to complete it, fail it deliberately to get the option to quit, or simply leave the mission area if you haven't started it yet.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
