You can't cancel a reload in PUBG Mobile once you've started it. Just make sure you're in a safe spot before reloading!

Use the prone or crouch button while reloading. This sometimes cancels the reload action.

Switching your gun while reloading can stop the process. Just quickly tap to change weapons.
