Easiest way? Just pop open the Origin launcher, head to 'My Game Library', right click on Apex Legends > Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options and type in '+fps_max 60' (or whatever your desired cap is) in the 'Command line arguments' box. Poof! Capped FPS to keep your game running smooth.

Lol, just use an external software. Something like RivaTuner can cap FPS for literally any game, not just Apex. Gives you more control too.

I don't cap my FPS because I live on the edge. More FPS, more power.

Tried the '+fps_max' trick and can confirm it works like a charm. It's great for keeping things stable on my ancient rig.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
