Just use the in-game settings, no need to mess with launch options. Go to Video settings and you'll find the option to set a max FPS limit. Quick and easy!

Easy! Just open the Origin launcher (yes, even though you're playing through Steam) and go to My Game Library. Right-click Apex Legends > Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options and then type in +fps_max followed by the number you want to cap it at. For example, +fps_max 60 will cap it at 60 FPS.

So, you're looking to cap FPS? Adding the command line to the game's launch options in Steam works too. Just go to your Steam Library, right-click Apex Legends, choose 'Properties,' then click 'Set Launch Options' and type in +fps_max 60 (or whatever limit you want).

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
