You can cap FPS in Starfield by editing the game's configuration file. Find the Starfield.ini file in the game directory, then set 'iPresentInterval=1' to cap it at 60 FPS.

From personal experience, using a third-party tool like RivaTuner can cap FPS. It works seamlessly with Starfield and is quite easy to set up.

Use GPU control panel settings to cap the FPS. For NVIDIA users, open NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D settings > Program Settings and set the frame rate limit for Starfield.

Honestly, just use V-Sync in the game settings. It's a quick and effective way to cap FPS.
