How to Cap Your FPS on Apex Legends
Easiest way? Go into the game settings, and you'll find an option for 'Adaptive Resolution FPS Target'. Set your desired FPS cap there. This method is super straightforward and doesn't require messing around with game files or third-party software. Just a few clicks in the settings menu!

Nah, forget in-game settings. The real pro move is to tweak your config file. Go to your Apex Legends config file, usually located at C:\Users\[YourUsername]\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\local\settings.cfg. Open it with Notepad, and add a line at the bottom: `fps_max [YourDesiredFPS]`. Save it, and voila, custom FPS cap.
Just use Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings. Much easier to manage FPS caps across all your games, not just Apex.
Honestly, why bother capping FPS at all? Let it run wild and free!
Game settings option is the way to go. I did it and it's been smooth sailing. Keeps things stable without having to delve into tech wizardry.
