To catch a Puffskein in Hogwarts Legacy, you need to sneak up on them without startling them and use the 'Levioso' spell to lift them. Once they're floating, simply walk up and the option to 'capture' will appear. Remember, Puffskeins love being in areas where they can scavenge, so check around Hogsmeade or the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest.

I saw somewhere that you need to chase them... Don't. Just approach them calmly, use Levioso, grab them, and boom, you're a proud Puffskein owner. Chasing just makes it a hot mess.
