Catching a scorpion in Animal Crossing is both thrilling and kinda scary! Here's the deal: you gotta sneak up on it. Keep your net ready, but don't run or it'll charge and sting you, game over. Approach it slowly while holding 'A' to ready your net, then release when you're close enough. Timing and patience are key. Oh, and they appear more frequently from 7 PM to 4 AM, so no early bird tactics here!

Pro tip: Wear your best running shoes cause if you miss your first swing, you're gonna need to sprint! But seriously, the trick is to creep up very, very slowly and stop whenever it raises its tail in defense. Wait for it to lower its guard, then go for the catch. Easy captures after a few tries, promise!

I got stung like a billion times before I got it right. Keep your net out and ready, sneak slowly, and for the love of Animal Crossing, wait for the right moment to swing. Also, have your volume up so you can hear the screech it makes before attacking. Saved me more times than I can count.

Honestly? Just run at it and swing. Works every time... if you're lucky.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
