Just connect your phone and PS3 to the same Wi-Fi network, then use an app that supports DLNA, like 'AllConnect' or 'Plex.' You should see your PS3 pop up as a device you can cast to.

I use the iMediaShare app to cast my phone's media to my PS3. It's easy to set up and works like a charm!

Honestly, it's easier to use a PS4 or PS5 for casting. The PS3 isn't as streamlined for this type of media sharing.

You can cast media from your phone to a PS3 using DLNA. Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, then enable DLNA on your PS3 and use a DLNA-capable app on your phone like BubbleUPnP.

I tried casting my phone to my PS3 using DLNA. Once I enabled everything in the settings, it worked great for streaming music and videos.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
