Catching a bunny in Terraria is super simple! You'll need a Bug Net, which you can buy from the Merchant NPC for 25 silver coins. With the Bug Net in hand, just walk up to a bunny and swing the net at it. Boom! Bunny caught. You can then place it in your inventory or let it loose inside a terrarium.
Honestly, why bother catching bunnies? Just focus on building and exploring. There's so much more to the game.
