Catching a centipede in Animal Crossing isn't too tricky once you know where to look! You gotta find some rocks first, 'cause that's where these lil' critters love to hide. Make sure it's between 5 PM and 11 PM in-game time, then go whack those rocks with your shovel or axe. Keep at it, and before you know it, a centipede will pop out, ready for you to snatch with your net. Happy hunting!

Don't bother catching them; focus on sharks instead. Much cooler and worth more bells!

Pro tip from someone who's caught more centipedes than they can count: Make sure your inventory has space BEFORE you start hitting rocks. Nothing worse than finally finding a centipede only to watch it disappear because you had to swap out items. And yeah, do this during their active hours (5 PM to 11 PM). Good luck!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
