Catching a cockroach in Animal Crossing isn't like nabbing those butterflies or beetles. See, you can't actually catch them with your net. Roaches show up in your house when you haven't played for a while, making your place look like a bit of a mess. The only way to get rid of them? Run over them! Yup, just chase them down and squash them with your character's feet. It's more about pest control than adding to your collection!

Actually, you can't catch cockroaches in Animal Crossing like you do fish or bugs. They're considered pests. If you've got roaches in your house, just run over them until they all disappear. It's pretty satisfying, TBH.

Nope, you can't catch 'em. Just stomp on those little critters till they vanish. Consider it a public service to your virtual island!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
